Privacy
We keep this simple because we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
- There are no accounts, forms or sign-ups on BookieLens, so we hold no personal details you give us.
- We run no advertising trackers. We do not run analytics on this edition at the moment. If we start, nothing will be set or sent unless you accept the banner, and ad storage and ad personalisation will stay off.
- Like any website, our server records the technical details of each request, such as the page asked for and the time. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
Your cookie choice
There is no choice to make yet, because we set no cookies. If that changes, a banner will ask you first, and you will be able to change your answer from this page.
Visit buttons
A Visit button sends you to the operator through a redirect on this site. The redirect sets no cookies and tells your browser not to send a referrer. Once you are on the operator’s site, its own privacy policy applies, and we do not control it.
Links to other sites
We link to regulators, registers and help organisations. They have their own privacy practices.
Your rights and complaints
Most processing of personal data in the United Kingdom is subject to the UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018 makes provision about processing personal data.Source: legislation.gov.uk
If you are unhappy with how an organisation handles your personal data and its response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, which recommends raising the concern with the organisation first.Source: Information Commissioner's Office
